Cardi B said on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres show” that her husband named Kulture. Offset’s father was Kiari Kendrell, the name of Kulture’s mother.
She canceled her tour with Bruno Mars that year to spend more time with Kulture.
I thought that six weeks after having my daughter I would have sufficient time to recover both mentally and physically. “The biggest lesson I learned is don’t take advice from no other mothers, especially the ones on social media, the robot moms, the ones that tell you your kid’s supposed to be off Pampers at 1 years old and then on binkies on 1 years old,” Cardi B said. “Every kid is different, every kid develop different, and not everybody else’s child is like my child.”

In September 2021, Cardi B announced that she and Offset had welcomed a son. Seven months later, Offset revealed that they had named their second child Wave Set Cephus.
Later that year, Cardi B shared photos from a photo shoot for Essence magazine featuring her entire family. The shoot included Kody, Jordan, and Kalea, who are Offset’s children from previous relationships. In her Instagram post, she expressed gratitude to everyone who helped make the shoot possible and stated that she loves having a large blended family and is grateful for how well they all get along.
In 2023, Cardi B shared a video of Wave after he accidentally dropped a snack on the floor. When she reminds him to clean up the mess, he makes an angry face. “Y’all mad at me,” she wrote with laughing emojis.
